Blink Album Review!

Our newest album Blink was recently reviewed by RARB (The Recorded A Cappella Review Board) and we received an impressive 4.0 (out of 5) by three reviewers. We are very proud of Blink and would James Cannon, Ed Boyer, Tat Tong and Bill Hare for their work on the album and RARB for reviewing it!

“I was resigned to listen to yet another Brown Eyed Girl, but the Scattertones' interpretation is unlike any other that I have heard. They slow it down and take it minor — I'm not surprised it was selected for BOCA...I expect that purchasers will not be disappointed with what they hear.”

-Guang Ming Whitley

“If I ever went to a collegiate karaoke competition, I would not want to compete against the Scattertones...In dedication, originality, and raw talent, the Scattertones are at the top of the class”

-Tom Czerwinski

“The Scattertones are stacked with talented performers. Blink showcases many strengths and many great selections. It's definitely one to buy and enjoy.”

-Kimmie Raschka Sailor

Thank You

The ScatterTones would like to thank all their fans for their support last year. We had a fantastic year. Not only did we release our second album, Blink, but we also placed 3rd at the ICCA Semifinals! That is the farthest any UCLA acappella group has gone in competition! AND to top it all off we won the UCLA Prytanean Alumnae Award for Best A Cappella Entry at Spring Sing last year! We are looking forward to another fantastic year!

The ScatterTones Win Spring Sing 2008!

The Scattertones 'Always Be My Baby' was one of the highlights of the night and one of the best a cappella performances that Spring Sing has seen in the past few years. Dominated by the powerful lead female vocals, 'Always Be My Baby' sounded as if it had music behind the singing instead of just harmonized voices. The group won the highly deserved UCLA Prytanean Alumnae Award for Best A Cappella Entry.
